Over 400 people came to see three wonderful performances of this hilarious 'dinner party gone wrong.' We laughed, we cried, we cheered -- but mostly we were really, really entertained! Thank you all for coming and supporting our cast and crew -- it's no rumor, we love you!

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

September 6th, 7th, and 9th 2017

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is The Stage's its first ever musical. It takes you into the lives of six adolescent misfits as they compete to become the spelling bee champion. Audiences will be transported into the minds of these pre-teens as they disclose their darkest secrets and fears, through song. Complete with audience participation, this comedic musical is a whirlwind of emotion, with hilarious stories, as the spellers try to avoid the dreaded ‘ding’ of a misspelled word. Six spellers enter, only one will win.

The Stage is proud to have been working with Director and actress Maya Ben Yaacov for the first time and hope to do other projects with her in the future.

TLV Short Play Festival

July 26th, 27th, 29th & 30th, 2016

After our big success with the One Act Play Festival in 2014 we decided to bring back with this festival-style performance, consisting of 7 short, comedic plays combined in a 90 minutes show!

Each play was performed by two to six actors and had its own director and producer and ran for ten to twelve minutes each.

In total we managed to host 25 actors and a team of nine directors and stage managers in this unique performance.

Picasso at the Lapin Agile

March 16th & 17th, 2016

The Stage in collaboration with Amber Gitter & Neil Goldstein

presented PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE - Steve Martin’s long running Off-Broadway comedy

The brainchild of award-winning funny man Steve Martin, the play brings together two of the most creative geniuses ever to grace the planet for a drink and a chat. Throw in a few more delightful characters, a bit of time-traveling, and imaginative minds gone wild, and you have “Picasso at the Lapin Agile”!

Thank you for flying Hell-Al!

October 8th & 15th, 2015

In collaboration with Jeremie Bracka and Yisrael Campbell

Using storytelling, stand-up and mockumentary, 'Thank you for flying Hell Al' is a Jewish comedy show on Israel and the experience of making Aliyah. Through a multitude of theatrical portraits, it uniquely showcases different Anglo, Russian, French, Arab and Israeli voices around migration and living in Israel as newcomers. The show counter-points a range of monologues between landlords, tax drivers, real-estate agents, government officials and arriving at Ben Gurion airport. From security checks to CNN, this production also satirizes political and media commentary on Israel

Miscast! 2: Less Grease; More Hairspray

April 18th & 19th, 2015

Your favourite Broadway songs performed like you've never seen them before. Featuring songs from Grease, Book of Mormon, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Chicago, and many other musicals.

We put on this production back in December 2014, and it was such a hit - we redid it!

Hauptmann by John Logan

March 19th & 26th, 2015

The Stage in association with Amber Gitter, opened up its 2015 season with a spellbinding drama based on actual events, with 7 actors playing 26 roles all in one show!

"Hauptmann by John Logan" is a play about one of the most famous and most analyzed trials in modern American history. On March 1st, 1932, the infant son of aviator Colonel Charles Lindbergh, the most famous man in the world at the time, is kidnapped and killed. Four years later, an innocent man is executed for the crime. Bruno Richard Hauptmann, a German immigrant in America, retells his story moments before being sent to the electric chair. The drama, performed in two acts, explores the power of celebrity and the media over the United States’ legal system.

Miscast! A Musical Revue

One Acts Festival

July 9th, 10th & 12th - 2014

The Stage’s second major production. A One Act Play Festival is made up of a number of short one act plays. We chose to do a night of 6 comedic one act plays, each less than 20 minutes in length. Some teetered on the absurd, others were farcical and others involved dark humor. We chose this format because we wanted to involve as many people from our community as possible. Including actors, directors, producers and backstage we have over 50 members of our community involved in this production! All the wonderful, talented people involved were volunteers and dedicated countless hours to get this show on the road.

The Vagina Monologues

February 8th, 15th & 20th - 2014

Our very first performance! Every V-Day thousands of local benefit productions are staged to raise funds for local groups, shelters, and crisis centers working to end violence against women. The Stage, in association with Beit Yad LaBanim TLV had the privilege and honor to raise funds and awareness for the Tel Aviv Sexual Assault Crisis Center, who will benefitted from the proceeds.
